Pedestrian From Santa Cruz Died In Aptos Crash On Highway 1 Near Freedom Boulevard
APTOS, CALIFORNIA (October 31, 2022) – A pedestrian from Santa Cruz has tragically died in an Aptos car accident along Highway 1 near the Freedom Boulevard exit.
Aptos police officials are saying that the accident took place around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday. A pedestrian was running in the area when they were struck by a vehicle.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Despite the best efforts of first responders, the pedestrian died as a result of their injuries.
A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
