Four People Killed In Rio Vista Head-On Collision on Highway 12

RIO VISTA, CALIFORNIA (July 30, 2022) – Four people were killed and six people were injured in a Rio Vista head-on collision along Highway 12.

Solano County officials are saying that the collision took place around 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. A Chevrolet Suburban and mid-sized Honda were involved in a head-on collision. The driver of the sedan may have overcorrected after leaving the road.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help all of the victims. Sadly, four people died in the crash and another six were injured.

A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
