Female Pedestrian Killed In Carlsbad Hit-And-Run By The Intersection of Palomar Airport Road and the Interstate 5 Onramp

CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA (March 17, 2023) – A woman has tragically died in a Carlsbad hit-and-run car accident by the intersection of Palomar Airport Road and the Interstate 5 Onramp.

San Diego County officials are saying that the collision took place around 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday. A woman was crossing the road when she was hit by a vehicle.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Sadly, the woman injured in the crash died at the scene.

Police are still looking for the driver that fled the scene.
