CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA (January 24, 2022) – A woman was seriously injured in a Chula Vista hit-and-run car accident by the intersection of F Street and Garrett Avenue.
San Diego County officials are saying that the collision took place on Wednesday. A woman was walking when she was hit by a car.
The force of the impact knocked her down leaving her with serious injuries. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim.
She was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. Police are still searching for the driver that fled the scene.
