Pedestrian Died In San Diego Car Accident After SUV Overturned on Interstate 8
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA (June 30, 2022) – A man walking by the shoulder of the Interstate 8 Freeway in San Diego died in a car accident after an SUV overturned onto him.
San Diego County police officials are saying that the accident took place around 3:15 p.m. on Sunday. A man was walking when another vehicle hit their brakes to avoid hitting them.
The Mercedes driver that stopped was rear-ended by an SUV. The SUV then fell on top of the victim. Sadly, he died due to the severity of his injuries at a nearby hospital.
An investigation into the crash on Interstate 8 remains ongoing.
