Mario Lucero Died In Valley Center Hit-And-Run Collision While Riding Bicycle By Cole Grande Road North of Horse Creek Trail
VALLEY CENTER, CALIFORNIA (December 28, 2022) – A bicyclist identified as Mario Lucero died in a Valley Center hit-and-run car accident by Cole Grande Road north of Horse Creek Trail.
San Diego County officials are saying that the accident took place around 5:34 p.m. on Saturday. Mario Lucero was riding a bicycle when the was hit by a Ford SUV or possible a Ford F Series pickup truck.
The driver of the Ford vehicle fled the scene and is currently being sought by police. Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.
Sadly, Mario Lucero died due to the severity of his injuries. Family members are planning to burry him in his hometown of Oaxaca, Mexico.
