Gary Boeldt Died In Ontario Car Accident With Drunk Driver On Interstate 15 Freeway By Jurupa Street
ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA (May 21, 2022) – A man identified as Gary Boeldt has died in a car accident with a suspected drunk driver on Interstate 15 by the Jurupa Street exit.
San Bernardino County officers are saying that the accident took place not long after midnight on March 31. The owner of a brewery in Riverside was driving a white Audi on the northbound lanes of the freeway.
He struck a gray BMW SUV driven by Gary Boeldt causing it to roll multiple times. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident in order to help the victim.
Despite life-saving measures, Gary Boeldt died from injuries he suffered in the crash. The driver of the Audi and owner of the Riverside brewery was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
This is apparently the fourth DUI arrest on his record. A full investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time. The brewery of the DUI suspect had to close for several days after numerous threats to the business.
