Emily Castaneda Died In Hesperia Hit-And-Run Car Accident Near The Intersection of Cottonwood Avenue and Sycamore Street
HESPERIA, CALIFORNIA (June 26, 2022) – A woman identified as Emily Castaneda has died in a Hesperia hit-and-run car accident by Cottonwood Avenue and Sycamore Street.
San Bernardino County police officials are saying that the accident took place around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday. Emily Castaneda fell onto the road and was then hit by a red 109 Chevrolet Trax.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Sadly, Emily Castaneda die due to the severity of her injuries.
The driver of the Chevy fled the scene and is currently being sought by police. A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
