HEMET, CALIFORNIA (August 28, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a Hemet hit-and-run car accident near the intersection of Stetson Avenue and Columbia Avenue.

Riverside County police officials are saying that the accident took place on Thursday night. A pedestrian was walking when they were hit by a Honda.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Sadly, the pedestrian died due to the severity of their injuries.

Police are still searching for the driver that fled the scene of the collision. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
