SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CALIFORNIA (October 26, 2022) – Two people riding electric scooters were injured in a South Lake Tahoe car accident with a drunk driver by Park Avenue and Manzanita Avenue.

South Lake Tahoe police officials are saying that the accident took place around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday. Two people were riding electric scooters when they were hit by a drunk driver.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help both of the victims. They were taken to the hospital in order to receive treatment.

Police arrested a 26-year-old woman on suspicion of DUI. An investigation remains ongoing at this time.
