Multiple People Injured In Los Angeles Car Accident After Pickup Truck Drove Onto Sidewalk Along Wilshire Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (June 13, 2022) – At least nine people were injured when a pickup truck drove onto the sidewalk of Wilshire Boulevard in the Westlake community of Los Angeles.
Los Angeles County police officials are saying that the accident took place on Saturday morning. The driver of a Ford F-150 drove onto the sidewalk and hit multiple people including vendors.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victims. They were taken to the hospital in order to receive treatment.
The driver of the Ford F-150 told police he swerved to avoid a gunman. But the LAPD later confirmed that no gun was ever seen.
A full investigation into the crash on Wilshire Boulevard remains ongoing at this time.
