Man and Three Dogs Killed In Los Angeles Hit-And-Run Collision Near The Intersection of 5th Street and Hill Street
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (September 29, 2022) – A man and his three dogs were killed in a Los Angeles hit-and-run car accident by 5th Street and Hill Street.
Los Angeles County officials are saying that the collision took place around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday. A man was walking three dogs when he was hit by a pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene of the collision but was later captured by police officers. He has since been charged with hit-and-run and DUI.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Sadly, the male pedestrian and all three dogs died following the crash.
Neighbors said that the location of the crash is dangerous and the site of many accidents. A full investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time.
