LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (July 28, 2022) – A passenger in a Lyft was injured in a downtown, Los Angeles car accident by the intersection of Washington Boulevard and South Broadway.

Los Angeles County officials are saying that the accident took place around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. A woman was transporting a rabbit in her vehicle when she broadsided a Lyft.

The force of the impact caused the Lyft to sheer off a fire hydrant. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.
