Boni Sturges (Full Name: Boni Marie Sturges), of Bakersfield, Injured In Car Accident Near The Intersection of W China Grade Loop and McCray Street
OILDALE, CALIFORNIA (June 15, 2022) – A woman identified as Boni Sturges was injured in an Oildale car accident near the intersection of W China Grade Loop and McCray Street.
Kern County police officials are saying that the accident took place on Tuesday. Boni Marie Sturges was in a Volvo XC90 when she was involved in a collision with a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
The force of the impact caused the Chevy to hit a light pole. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help all of those that were injured.
Boni Sturges sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Kern Medical. The intersection was shut down for nearly three hours while an investigation continued.
