LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (January 1, 2022) – A pedestrian has tragically died in a Koreatown hit-and-run car accident near the intersection of Western Avenue by Wilshire Boulevard.

Los Angeles County officials are saying that the accident took place around 1:30 a.m. on December 29. A man was walking in the area when he was hit by a vehicle.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Sadly, he died following the collision.

Police are still searching for the driver that fled the scene.
