AUSTIN, TEXAS (March 16, 2023) – A bicyclist identified as Cody Davis was seriously injured in an East Austin hit-and-run car accident by Waller Street near East 4th Street.

Austin police officials are saying that the accident took place around 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cody Davis was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a vehicle.

The driver did not stop and took off after the crash. The victim was able to walk for some time after the crash, but people said that he began to struggle.

Paramedics took Cody Davis to the hospital where he later had to undergo surgery for a skull fracture. You can help support him through GoFundMe.
