Man Died In El Cajon Car Accident With Drunk Driver on State Route 52
EL CAJON, CALIFORNIA (November 1, 2022) – A man has tragically died in an El Cajon head-on car accident with a drunk driver on State Route 52.
San Diego County officials are saying that the accident took place early on Friday. A man was heading down SR-52 when he was hit head-on by a pickup truck.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Sadly, the driver of the car died as a result of their injuries.
Police arrested the driver of the pickup truck on suspicion of DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
