Female Inmate Died In Custody After Being Found Unresponsive In Jail Cell At Riverside’s Robert Presley Detention Center
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (April 5, 2022) – A woman at Riverside’s Robert Presley Detention Center died in custody after being found unresponsive in her jail cell.
Riverside County police officials are saying that the incident took place around 8:35 p.m. on Thursday. A female inmate was found unresponsive in her jail cell at the Robert Presley Detention Center.
Life-saving measures were taken in order to help the inmate. But she was ultimately pronounced dead at 9:12 p.m. on Thursday.
Foul play is not suspected as a factor. It is unknown it the inmate was alone in the cell when she became unresponsive.
A full investigation into the death at the Robert Presley Detention Center remains ongoing at this time.
