The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting everyone’s lives: most of us are staying home to do our part to prevent the spread. Those of us in essential help roles are working harder than ever to serve those who have contracted this deadly disease. The news is alarming in terms of what else might be coming. The stress levels across the globe are rising. But it’s helpful to remember that we’re all in this together.
Mr. Rogers once said that whenever frightening events would happen, his mother would tell him to look for the helpers, because there would always be good people helping each other.
Here is a list of ways people are helping others to reassure you that all is not lost. We’re including links to some services that might be useful to those who need them.
We’ll continue to add to this list as we see more helpers. If you have any suggestions for us to add, please comment below, or comment on our social media accounts with #AllinThisTogether.
