TorkLaw is sponsoring the Consumer Attorneys of California’s (CAOC) 57th Annual Convention held at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, on November 15-18, 2018.
Our firm is co-sponsoring the keynote lunch on Saturday, November 17 on the subject, “The Justice System Is Sometimes Unjust: How Lawyers Can Make It Right.” This keynote speaker for this lunch is Bryan Stevenson, author of New York Times bestselling book Just Mercy, and founder of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI). This nonprofit organization works to create hope in marginalized communities. Its goals are to end poverty and racial injustice by advocating for equal treatment in the justice system. TorkLaw shares this vision and is pleased to support Mr. Stevenson.
The Consumer Attorneys of California is a professional organization comprising more than three thousand personal injury lawyers in the Golden State. TorkLaw attorneys are proud to belong to this group, which represents the interests of people who have been wronged.
“TorkLaw sponsoring this lunch is another example of our firm’s commitment to leveling the playing field,” said TorkLaw sponsor Reza Torkzadeh. “Like CAOC, we believe in demanding accountability from wealthy corporations and other moneyed interests who believe they are bigger than the law. We represent the people.”
